United Way Charlotte County

Who We Are

Mobilizing the power of our community so all can thrive.

The change we need now for the future we want to create. Our vision is to ensure brighter futures for youth, financial stability for families, healthier communities, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Along with our partners, businesses, and volunteers, we tackle the most pressing issues by combining resources, funding effective programs, and providing direct assistance.

What We Do

WHO WE SERVE: ALICE

ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) are hardworking families who earn above the poverty line but still can’t afford life’s basics. They are our caregivers, clerks, and neighbors—essential workers living paycheck to paycheck, often one emergency away from crisis.

By supporting ALICE, United Way Charlotte County helps stabilize families, strengthen our workforce, and build a more resilient community for all.  Learn more about ALICE.
